libconfig9 software package provides parsing/manipulation of structured configuration files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libconfig9
libconfig9 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libconfig9 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libconfig9 *
You will get with libconfig9 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
